One Man's Trash...

Carolyn and I saw this old car sitting by the dumpster waiting to be trashed. Carolyn (being the brave one of us) got out of the car and went and tested it out to make sure it wasn't broken and then grabbed it so that we could do a little refurbishing! I did have to take a bucket of water, bleach and several towels to it before I started but it was a lot of fun and now we have another outdoor toy!
Logan sweetly watched as I put the first layer of paint on her new little toy. She wasn't quite sure what was going on.
Then she played while I detailed the car. It's so nice to have an extra set of hands here this weekend to do stuff like this!

And here's the finished product:

Logan (while she doesn't look amused here) had so much fun playing with her Tia while I worked away.
The inside has some splotchy areas because I ran out of lavender paint...can't win them all, can you?
But it was all worth it because Logan just LOVES it!

She really loves honking the horn.
(every southern girl's car needs a good monogram on the back)
Their trash became Logan's new treasure!!
