Today, I'm 39 weeks pregnant and this week I've officially been more pregnant than I've ever been before. I had Logan at 38 weeks and 2 days, so this guy has her beat at staying put longer (though, I'm sure she would have had we not evicted her). I definitely feel VERY pregnant and I don't think he's got much room left to grow. Other than normal contractions (all. day. long.) that usually aren't painful--just annoying, I'm not showing any of the tell tale signs of labor so it really could be any time. Trying to enjoy every last minute of just having one baby before we turn our world upside down.

We also had Logan's 2 year well visit today! She was so excited to be going to her own "doc" instead of mommy's. She actually said to the nurse, "this my doc, not mommy's doc." She wasn't quite as fond of the nurse when she got her two vaccinations, but at least she was friendly with her at first. We really love the Dr. we've started seeing regularly there and will be sad if we can't convince them to take Tricare (which we probably won't be able to) when we have to switch over in a few weeks/months after Mike is commissioned.

Logan is 26 pounds and 33 inches tall. She's right between the 45-50 percentile in both so she's just about average. Though, the Dr. says she looks like she may be a petite one. Considering she's just now growing out of 18 month clothing and is still wearing a shoe size fit for a 12 month old, I'd say the Dr. may just be right for now. Developmentally she's on track with a 3-3 1/2 year old. She's speaking in full sentences, completely potty trained, can follow several commands in sequence, eats with a spoon and fork by herself making minimal messes, can count to five by herself (and to ten with help), memorizes stories and can retell them, has a few bible verses memorized, knows several songs by memory, can mimic drawing lines on paper, and even recognizes her name in written form. In fact, she was looking at the chart the Dr. had given us that had her name printed on it and pointed it out and said, "that's my name!" I had to explain to the Dr. that we have quite a bit of personalized stuff for her and I'm sure that's why she can recognize it. Thankfully, she actually talked and interacted with the Dr. this time...usually I tell the Dr. all of the things L can do and she just sits there making me look like I'm a crazy mother, but she showed off a little today.

I told Logan we'd get chick-fil-a for lunch today after the Dr. as her reward and as soon as the nurse finished her shots, Logan looked at me and tearily asked, "mom, I get my chick-a-le now? I good girl?" and then put her hand on her leg and said, "mommy, it hurts berry bad." So yes, she got her chick-fil-a after we stopped at target for some "puh-puh bin-maids" (princess bandaids) to take the place of the big blue boy bandaids they stuck on her.
