A Day In The Life

Welcome to a day in the life of Logan! Let me tell you, she's got it rough...

She wakes up at 7:45am and snuggles with mommy until 8:30. After we get up, we head to the kitchen and have a nice breakfast together (sometimes, daddy even gets to join us!).

After breakfast is cleaned up, L and I head to the living room where she gets to have tummy time! She's very close to becoming a crawler, so I'm sure that soon enough, tummy time will be a distant memory and I'll be running around like a crazy woman trying to keep things out of her reach.
Logan is very curious and loves to be on her tummy now that she can push herself up and she's not stuck just lying around. She loves to play, especially with her keys.
But, sometimes tummy time wears her out and I'll find her in this position:

And then I know it's time for a change. So, then we start mommy and baby pilates! Don't let this picture fool you, she really does enjoy it, it just happens to end right before naptime so she's usually just a bit cranky when we're finishing up.
After a morning full of activity, L crashes for a good 3 hour nap in the morning.
When she wakes up, we change her clothes and head back to the kitchen for lunch. Logan's new favorite thing to do is tilt her head (and sometimes her entire body) to the side and look at you sideways. This is a very cute trick when you're not trying to put food in her mouth, otherwise it becomes quite a mess!
After lunch, we clean up and get ready for the rest of our day. Logan is such a happy camper after a good, long nap and some yummy food.
Usually, this is when we run an errand or two. I have to time it just perfectly so that we don't run into her second nap because if she falls asleep in the car then we totally lose that naptime and by 5pm we're ready to poke our eyeballs out with the whining and fussing.

Logan is a good traveler in the afternoon, she sits (with her shades on) in her little carseat and plays with whatever she can get her hands on. Lately, her favorite car toy is a water bottle (oh, the things that amuse a baby).
When we get home, we both usually go down for a short afternoon nap and then get up and get ready for daddy to get home. Here's our sweet baby watching me make dinner:
