On our way down to Miami, we took a quick detour in Orlando and made our way to Disney. The last time we were there was for Mike's birthday last year and I think that it's the longest time we've been away from Disney since we've been married! Of course, it'll now only get longer since we no longer live in FL and their prices jumped up a considerable amount. We scored some free tickets this time around making it easy to say yes to the chance to go there.
We spent a good part of the morning just wandering around Hollywood studios. Logan got to meet Mickey there for the second time around. We had a hard time holding her back to wait her turn to see him because she was so excited that he was actually there in front of her. She wanted to touch his nose, his eyes, his hands, but did NOT want him to touch her! She kept her distance when she wasn't the one exploring. Then we went and saw the Playhouse Disney live show and you wouldn't know it by looking at the pictures, but she loved it. She was just very intensely focused on her "friends" and couldn't figure out how they had come out of the TV and onto the stage. 
We played with the ducks for a while and sat outside while Mike rode some of the roller coasters. Then we went to our character lunch with her Playhouse Disney friends. We thought we were off to a good start with Mickey. Then she met June, who she loved. Again, she wanted to touch her hands, her eyes, her nose--basically identify all of the body parts she knows (I really need to work on keeping her from doing this with strangers--some people don't appreciate it). Then Handy Manny stopped by and everything went down hill. She was ok until he started invading her space and wanting to play with her. This caused a huge fit and then she wanted NOTHING to do with any of the other characters. This is why there are not a bazillion Disney pictures this time around. We had looked forward to getting her to meet with Pooh and Tigger later in the day, but after the Manny incident, Logan wouldn't get near any other characters.
Then we headed to EPCOT. We rode the Nemo ride, which I think she would have gladly ridden several more times had we not headed out into the aquarium. Then she was hooked on the real "she-shes" I thought we'd never get out of there with how much she loved just staring!
Logan took a good two hour stroller nap and we walked around the park some more. Mike rode some rides and we were able to look around a bit. Then we headed to Magic Kingdom when she woke up. I had epic plans for our stay there...but just about every one of them failed. It really has turned into a "classy" fair grounds. So crowded you can barely move, it smelled funny because of the amount of people around and the lines were SO long that riding two of the more popular rides may have taken us the rest of our day. We rode the carousel and the tea cups and then we ate dinner and headed out. It was a GREAT day...it was so much fun to see Logan understand a little more of what was going on this time around. We look forward to getting back there sometime in the future!
