When we got into the park one of the Disney cast members noticed Logan and asked if she wanted to meet the princesses...did he really need to ask? :) So we changed her into her Cinderella garb and got in line for the princess meet and greet. L was SO excited, we had to hold her back from running ahead of people.
Belle is Logan's favorite princess of the moment (it switches about every 2 weeks). She ran right up to her and when Belle asked her name L replied, "I'm 2! I have no pants on (proceeded to try and lift her dress to show her)." Belle was very gracious and told Logan that princesses didn't need pants because they get to wear big, flowy dresses instead.
You'll notice that Logan doesn't smile in any of the character pictures--it's not because she's not happy, believe me, she was ecstatic to be there, it's because she's totally star-struck.
Cinderella was particularly fond of L since they were twins! They talked for a while about the little birds that helped put the bows into Logan's hair. Logan looked a little confused about it--I guess we should watch Cinderella so she can see what she was talking about.
This next picture is blurry, but when we went to leave Logan grabbed Mickey's hand and said, "Tum (come) on Mickey, time to go home with me!"
Last year, we went to the same character dining experience and Handy Manny scared Logan to death and then she didn't want to be near any characters again. This year she didn't want Manny to leave our table!
After we had been there for an hour and they had already done three rounds of dancing, Logan finally got the courage to go stand up in the front when the character's beckoned. But that's all she did. Stand. No dancing.
We went to Epcot on the afternoon of day 2 and they were doing another big meet and greet with characters so Logan got to meet up with Mickey and Minnie again.
Donald, who seemed a little perturbed that Logan kept asking for Goofy (who was next) instead of hanging with him:
Siblings! Sad that this will be our last time together for quite a while since John will be deploying in August, but so glad we were able to do this and spend some quality time with him. (Thanks for giving up your husband for us, Lindsey!)
Logan was a bit map obsessed at Epcot. She carried one the entire time and pretended to direct us to where she wanted us to go.
At the end of the day we headed off to see Nemo! The four of us (Mike, Logan, Me and Brody--who was in the womb at the time) took a picture here last time. We missed daddy tremendously!
Day 3 we headed back to the Magic Kingdom to ride some more rides and meet some more characters. While I took Logan on Dumbo, Carolyn took Brody to meet Pinocchio.
Logan had to sit on the inside so you can't see her in the ride pictures.
So we got a good one on the ground:
